Service Dog Candidates and Service Dogs In Training (SDiTs)
Psychiatric Service Dog, "Guinness"

Guinness is an 8-month-old black purebred Standard Poodle from long-time ethical breeders, Magisterial Kennels. Guinness is doing very well with his training but is still very much a puppy so he won't be ready to go for a few more months. Guinness is being trained to the 3 Levels and the 3 tasks discussed on the Standards tab. Guinness's adoption fee is $7500 and satisfaction is guaranteed via a written contract. PLACED: Pom-Therapy Service Dog In Training: "Pepperpod"

Pepperpod is a well-bred Pomeranian bred here at ThunderHawk Pom-Therapy Pomeranians. He is 4.5 months old, is paper-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, and is ready to continue his intense socialization to complete his Psychiatric Service Dog Level I Training. Pepperpod is available for $4500 with Level I, II and III Training for his handler included in the fee. A payment plan can be arranged. Pepperpod has been placed, but other Pom-Therapy dogs are in training and can be available in as little as 4 months. Contact us today.
Note that Pepperpod is being trained as a "Service Dog" -- not a "Therapy Dog", or an "Emotional Support Dog". The terminology is important because of the legal distinctions made between the categories: Service Dogs are granted legal protection to go places where all other dogs (including Therapy and ESDs) cannot. Service Dogs can be thought of as a "prescription" that is authorized by a medical doctor or a psychiatrist.
